My 2016 Goodreads reading challenge

2016 has been my best year concerning reading yet I believe. Initially I planned to read 30 books this year. With time I´ve changed the goal to 40, to 50 and finally to 55 books. And currently I´m reading my 67 th book this year. Wow. I would´ve never thought, I´d read that much. Then again I did have a lot of free time during the end of my school time and the beginning of my apprenticeship. All in all I´ve read 66 books (I´m not counting my CR, which is “The Fault in Our Stars” by John Green), 23,917 pages. My shortest book was “Sherlock a Study in Pink” by Paul Shipton and my longest “After Passion” by Anna Todd with 704 pages. I can´t quite define, which book was my favourite because I´ve read so many amazing ones and discovered great new books that I´ve got to love. Here´s a link to my year in books from Goodreads. What was your reading year like? How many books did you absorb? Are you able to tell which was your favourite? Let me know in the comments bel ow :)

Eadlyn Schreave is still in the middle of her Selection and she isn´t sure who will end up as her Prince Consort. As time passes by though, the number of questionable suitors seems to get smaller by itself. I love the way you get to know each of the left suitors better, learn things that make you like them even more. And Eadlyn did so well. She developed from a selfish duckling into a warm-hearted, considerate swan, who cares about her people and her family and makes much more responsible and grown-up decisions. She even manages to get along with Josie, whom she kind of hated before. And then she falls in love with the sweetest person ever. I love it. America and Maxon are amazing parents. I love how they´re there for her children, especially for Eadlyn, who needs them so much. Kiera Cass managed to write the perfect ending to this series. Although I could read on and on and on, more stories of America, Maxon and Eadlyn, I love this ending and I could read it over and over a
