Description
Lou
Clark knows too many things . . .
She
knows how many miles lie between her new home in New York and her new boyfriend
Sam in London.
She
knows her employer is a good man and she knows his wife is keeping a secret
from him.
What Lou
doesn't know is she's about to meet someone who's going to turn her whole life
upside down.
Because
Josh will remind her so much of a man she used to know that it'll hurt.
Lou
won't know what to do next, but she knows that whatever she chooses is going to
change everything.
My opinion
This is
not the best book in the trilogy. Although it is very well written and has a
lot of funny scenes and amazing quotes, it lacks a lot of the certain something.
And I didn´t really see the point in it. While the second book, after you, was amazing because it showed
how Lou dealt with a certain person´s death, this one didn´t do much of showing
us new aspects of her life. Yes, she is in New York now and yes, we are curious
how the long-distance relationship with Sam will work out. But the story is
full of clichés, the ending is obvious and the last 40 pages or so were not
just really boring but also unnecessary.
Sorry,
Jojo Moyes, but this isn´t your best work in my opinion. Which doesn´t mean
that I didn´t enjoyed reading it. It´s just the least exciting book in the Lou
Clark-trilogy.
